Welcome to our premier wedding photography competition, Top Knots: The New School of Wedding Photography. The contest was judged in 5 categories: ceremony, party, portraits, details, spontaneous.
Our esteemed panel of photography and wedding photography experts in various fields reviewed the entries and selected those pieces that best represent overall excellence, creativity and impact. The judges selections for Best of Category and Grand Prize are presented here as well as other images that were runners up.

Reuel Golden is the senior editor of Photo District News and is responsible for the "Pix" section of the magazine, which covers digital developments and issues. He also writes about trends in advertising, wedding and fashion photography. Golden also serves as editor of Photoserve.com, the Web site that allows photographers to put their images online and is sourced by leading art buyers and photo editors.
Tricia Balatico, PHOTO EDITOR, ELEGANT BRIDE
Tricia Balatico comes to Elegant Bride from Victoria magazine where she spent just over two years serving in various capacities, most recently as the art associate. She has also freelanced as the photo editor at Elle Decor and Hearst Magazines. Prior to her career in publishing, Balatico was a television reporter and fill-in anchor for MediaOne Cape News in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. Originally from Tennessee, Tricia received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
